Walden is a collection of songs I wrote living in semi-isolation in the Santa Cruz mountains during the pandemic. The name Walden is obviously a reference to the book of the same name written by Henry David Thoreau. It is the first project I've finished that would be considered a "shoegaze" album or at least draws heavy inspiration from the genre and 90's indie. It's generally a soundscapey, ethereal reflection on escapism and the effect of solitude on the psyche.
